I think that the goal is to move only front-ends to MS-Windows, while using server running on Unix (and others OSs, like NT or NetWare). I think that the point is that Windows is *the* GUI environment. MS- Windows market is so huge compared to Motif, MAC or OS/ 2. Oracle is loosing customers for PowerSoft, Gupta and MicroBugs. They need to do Oracle Windows-friendly. The strategy of SCO is making SCO Unix Windows' friendly too. This strategy is very important, because people think that everything that's MS-Windows fiendly will survive and everything that has no relation with MS-Windows will die. And if everybody thinks this way, it will really happen.

I don't like it, but.....
