hmmm, here in OZ - a person that is pissed has been having too much of the alcoholic stuff. Maybe that's what we need sometimes to get over these tactics some companies use to make a buck :-)

Seriously guys, that sort of salesmanship will not last long and I have been warning people about this for some time now. BTW you don't really need to wait for the finish of a project before you want to change the ODBC driver (unless you program, using driver specific functions). Just changing a driver should be sufficient. There are quite a few good drivers around and I have been using the VisionWare driver for quite some time. It's fast and reliable (No I don't work for them). Maybe you ought to talk to them about their policy. I think you will be happy with them.
