ORACLE 7 Install on SCO

I am trying to install ORACLE 7 om a SCO box (DEC 486 66 with 32MB ram). I get error ORA-07331 that deals with smsmsg. After calling support I set the following kernel parameters:

SHMMAX=512KB
SHMSEG=15
SEMMNI=30
SEMNS=60

ORACLE also suggested increasing SHMMAX to 5MB but it seemd to me a little too high. Rebuilding the kernel with the above parameters DID NOT solve the problem and I still get the same error. Any ideas will be welcomed.
