Problems with Oracle Forms Designer 4.0 / NCD Xterminal

My NCD Xterminal crashes into the BOOT MONITOR (!) whenever I invoke the Oracle Forms 4.0 designer code editor (i.e. from clicking "Editor..." on the Triggers panel) or soon thereafter. This happens independent of the window manager I'm using from my Xterminal.

I'm using Oracle Forms 4.0.12.4.1, Oracle 7.0.16.4.0 running under HP-UX 9.01 on an HP 750. Any ideas? This crash completely disconnects me and the Xterminal must be rebooted to recover...
