We've actually had some success in this. We have several HTML forms that gather up info. from the user then uses Oraperl (that's what's being used as the link between HTML and Oracle) to do the DML things. Our WWW server is running on a Sun (I forget the model, one of their data center systems) with Oraperl and SQL*Net TCP/IP (V1.0) installed. Oracle7 (7.0.13) is running on a DEC Alpha 3000/400 with OSF/1 (1.3). (Can you say "Good Performance", I knew you could. ;) While we may not be running large scale applications, the HTML/Oraperl/- Oracle7 combination provides an excellent solution to those small enterprise wide apps that everybody wants, but the programmers are too bogged down to get to. There's a few of us that would love to do all our applications this way, but you know how it is. Remember, the key is Oraperl. -Martin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Martin E.
