Getting to IMS data from SUN/Solaris

Hi everybody,
Are there any tools that can read and update data on IMS database from UNIX platforms. The Unix platform is Solaris 2.3. I have heard about a product from Oracle called Procedural gateway to IMS. Has anybody used this product? I appreciate any input. I would like to summerize the responses.
