Hi,

We are in the process of installing some pretyy big Oracle applications
(internally developed.) We are also working with a very key customer
who needs to run these applications. A T1 line will be used connect
the customer and our company through our interent gateway/firewall
machine. We would like to be able run the application in a client/
server mode using SQL*Net. Is there a way I can make SQL*Net work
through the gateway machine, like FTP or Telnet works using the SOCKS
protocol. We don't have the luxury of bypassing the gateway/firewall
system in the connection. I would greatly appreciate any and all help
hints, tricks, and ... Please mail your responses to me and I will
summarize to the group, thanks in advance.
