As a side note, runrep and SQL*ReportWriter uses a file stored in $ORACLE_HOME/sqlreport/admin/terminal called srw_dflt. If you are using UNIX, this file is linked to one of the files in the directory. You can create your own file by using the program "termdef".

The -c option is NOT used by runrep, it uses a "term=" command. If this is not specified, it will use srw_dflt. Otherwise, you can specify one of the files in directory mentioned above or the file you created using termdef.

Runing sqlreport30 still requires the -c option to define a terminal.

Oh, by the way, multiple "devices" may be defined in the .r files. Be save and cover up by using vt100:vt100 or {filename}:{devicename}.

ORACLE missed the boat on this one, not putting runrep paramters in the "oraterm" defined file.
