Is it possible to skip fields while loading? I have a delmitted file with
about 6 or 7 fields. Of which, I want to skip fields 2 and 3.
So, I would load field 1 into a table column then I want to skip over fields
2 and 3; and continue loading the rest of the fields into the table.
want to load these fields.
The fields are varying length, so I can't use POSITION.
There is a SKIP keyword, which I think just skips logical records not fields.
