SQL*TextRetrieval

Hi there !

Does anyone have any experience with SQL*TextRetrieval ? It's a product we were introduced to a couple of years ago but we didn't then have any need for it. However, it looks like we can use it to upgrade a number of large mainly-text databases currently held on BRS/SEARCH on VMS.

Can anyone tell me how SQL*TextRetrieval compares with BRS, or similar systems, as regards performance (speed of retrieval) ? Is this product even available any more ?
