I just tried creating a database table with a field called PASS/FAIL. The slash is not valid within a column name, so I wasn't surprised to get an error. But instead of an "invalid column name" error what I got was:
PASS/FAIL VARCHAR2(1) NOT NULL, *
ERROR at line 17:
ORA-00902: invalid datatype
"Invalid datatype"? Is this a bug in Oracle 7.0?
