Hi:

I am currently working with ADABAS which is an inverted file system. It has extensive sorting capabilities.

I have worked too little with ORACLE and Sybase to assess their capabilities to sort. Could you please give me some feedback on whether there are ready-made routines/procedures that could be invoked to sort a field alphabetically, for example?

Thanks in advance,
