Our company has helped put in some of the largest Oracle-based data warehouses,
most wunning on Sequent. The largest -- 250+ Gig, the typical, 40+ Gig. Some
interesting things start to happen when Oracle gets that big (s.a. an actual
physical limit to ho
w big a table can be (there is one, you know) and strange things with extent
allocation and the SGA....) But overall it works just fine.
