oracle vs Paradox in multi-user envrionment

Recently I faced a question, in multi-user envrionment with huge data transaction, which is good, oracel or Paradox and why ? I have no idea for Paradox, but heard that it is pretty neat producty for dbms on PC world.
Any inputs would be appreciated
