Instructional Systems Company, Inc. seeks a limited number of beta sites for a utility which allows one to:

o Generate Paradox for Windows tables from SQL DDL scripts

o Create SQL DDL scripts from existing Paradox for Windows tables

The intended benefits of this utility include:

  1. Easily port data models from DB2, Sybase, and other SQL-based systems to Paradox for Windows.
  2. Easily port Paradox for Windows data models to DB2, Sybase, and other SQL-based systems.
  3. Enable Paradox for Windows developers to work with SQL-based CASE tools and DDL generators, such as System Architect, Bachman, ERwin.
  4. Enable Paradox for Windows developers to create and maintain data models from a single, easy-to-read script.
    • faster than creating tables interactively
    • provides a "data model" view of tables
    • facilitates version control and maintenance
    • facilitates application distribution

Beta testors will receive free copies of the final product when it is released. Beta testors will be selected on the basis of how, and with what tools, they expect to use the utility.
