Speaking of strange PL/SQL errors, this one takes the cake.My boss who works from her house had written a PL/SQL script. She connects from her house to the office by Modem.Somehow, some garbage had gotten into her PL/SQL script which we could not see as it was some junk character. An Insert statement looked perfect on the screen but PL/SQL was flagging an error. We were dumbfounded. At last we deleted the line and rewrote the Insert statement and bingo the script worked. There are some days ...... So next time around if everything looks fine and PL/SQL show an error u just know what to do :-) . Or use od in Unix on that line. Hope this helps.

Thanks and Regards
