Hello,
is there anybody who can give me (a beginner concerning this) solid advice about starting a database?
We intend to create a database for a huge amount of biological data. Unfortunately, there is only a PC (486) available (no connection to network). We're not yet sure what kind of database we should choose. The data we produce should be compatible with ORACLE.
So,
is there a PC-version of ORACLE?
is ORACLE a good start for a beginner or is it better to start with MS ACCESS, dBASE or
the like?
Thanks in advance for helping ...
