Your problem is that the ORACLE_SID and/or TWO_TASK is not set properly. There is another problem you should ware of, you can not shut down a database when somebody else is connecting to that database.
I am taking care of a 24-hour 7-day a week on-line system I had to manually knock off some users at midnight when I try to do a cold backup. Any good ideas? Received on Tue May 17 1994 - 21:24:33 CEST
