Hi,

If you want to use ops$ accounts over ODBC you'll need to type the full account name and use a password. When the windows session connects up to a unix machine the shadow processes is owned by the process 'daemon'. In fact this is true of any logon that is over sql*net. It's just and idle thought - I wonder what would happen if I had an account called ops$daemon - Nah unsupported.
