Oracle Text Retrieval

HI,
I am looking for information on Oracle text retrieval/manipulation. A client of ours, needs to do partial string searches, searches for multiple words in a document, and document management.

We have heard of SQL*TEXTRETRIEVAL, how does this perform, are there any other products which use the Oracle database to store the documents. Any information is greatly appreciated.
