Regarding your problem, it seems that you have not identified the client application that will be accessing the Oracle tables. If it is Powerbuilder, then you may not even need ODBC. If it is MS Access or Visual Basic, then you will need ODBC. There is a setup program for ODBC that should allow you to set up the Oracle interface using SQL*Net.
