I got a logon for Oracle and am starting to learn it without a formal class. The Sun computer lab has a mixture of manuals for 6.0 and down, but they do NOT clearly elucidate the mechanism to set terminal type through oraterm or crt. Hence, sqlforms etc. is not available. AT school, I would use a Sun running  X, and at home VT100 or ANSI, most likely. I tried playing with login.sql to no avail. Copied .crt files into my own directory etc..

Any suggestions?

Thank you.
