6.0.33 had both sqlload & sqlldr and they were both different programs. One was the old SQL*Loader program and the other was the Direct Load SQL*Loader.

With 6.0.37 they only had sqlldr. That is because the program had the all functionality of sqlload.

7.0.xx and some 6.0.3x had both again. They are the SAME! That is sqlldr and sqlload are the one and the same because they are symbolically linked (UNIX).

Try running sqlload with no options or arguments and see the USAGE line. It referes to sqlldr.
