Yup. I'm using Windows For Workgroups v3.11 with the Beta2 TCP/IP connecting to Oracle 7 on an HP-UX server.

I onlly had to dwo two tings over and above installing the TCP/IP software to get it to work:

  1. addt the ORASRV port in the SERVICES file that was installed with the TCP/IP
  2. reinstall SQL*NET with support for WINSOCK (windows sockets) TCP/IP support - I told the Oracle installer that I had Super TCP (any WINSOCK compliant selection should work)
