Oracle V6 + Forms 4.0

Hi,

I want to buy an Oracle database with CDE tools for my Home PC. I'm interested in learning SQL-Forms 4.0 after doing some large projects with Oracle V5 and V6 and SQL-Forms 2.x and 3.x.

I'm running MS-DOS, MS Windows, Windows NT and SCO-Unix on my Home PC and looking now for a cheap Oracle installation to learn Forms 4.0. As I know Forms 4.0 is only supported with Oracle V7 and this is only available for Windows NT and SCO-Unix (on my PC) and very expensive for private use. A cheaper solution would be Oracle and Forms on MS Windows, but only Oracle V6 is available on MS-DOS.

Now I heard that Forms 4.0 is also running with Oracle V6 (not supported by Oracle).

My questions:    

    Has anybody run Forms 4.0 with Oracle V6 on MS Windows ?     Are there some strange limitations (compared with V7) ?     What other problems did you have ?
    Does anybody know a better solution for learning Forms 4.0 ?
