TPC-B is just a stress test really and has the least practical value of all the TPC-x suite of tests. To some extent no test ever gives an accurate reflection of a user's particular application. The TPC-B test is 'flawed' because it has no think time in it or concept of a user form.

At the moment TPC-C is seen by many as one of the best metrics but this will change over time no doubt, especially when TPC-D comes out. :-)
