Because it wouldn't just stay at 5 posts. Pretty soon Gemini would be start automagically sending us postings every week. Then we would start geting DB2 job listings. And then every headhunter that has ever heard the word Database would start posting.

I'm afraid we are on a bit of a slippery slop here. While I dont entirely agree with Mr. Forgy's Umm Presentation I'm agraid I do have to agree with his basic premise - This is not the place to post job offerings.

As for createing a new group called databases.jobs I dont have a problem with that but your still going to have to worry about headhunters posting to this group because this is where the talent pool is. I know that if I was looking for people this is where I would want to post to.

Maybe it is time to talk about a moderated group.
