Forms 4.0 Scrolling

I'm having trouble with scrolling in Oracle Forms v4. The scrolling with the runtime window ( Stacked ) is painstakingly slow. If you know how to speed it up please reply.
We are using Forms 4.0.12 on a Macintosh.
