ORACLE SUPPORT SPECIALIST The Computing and Communications portfolio seeks an individual to support all aspects of the ORACLE RDBMS and associated products currently operating on a variety of platforms located within the University's growing number of ORACLE based installations. This is a one-year Term position with a possibility of renewal.

The objective of this position is to provide ORACLE technical support to the portfolio's campus-wide clients who independently manage and operate their own ORACLE based facilities. Responsibilities include managing the acquisition and distribution of ORACLE products, providing ORACLE training and training recommendations, platform recommendations, site preparation advice and technical problem identification and resolution support.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in developing and supporting ORACLE databases and ORACLE applications, preferably in a multiplatform environment; and possess complete and thorough knowledge of the ORACLE RDBMS database administration and application development tools.
