Re: How do I use raw devices?

Just a note about the quoted increase in performance gain in going from UFS to Raw:

1. It might be faster due to the database/tablespace/datafile being 're-org'
2. Most of the figures being mentioned might have been observed from test conducted a while back. Note that a few years ago, most disk were slower than they are today. There should be little performance gain these days and I would love to see someone carry out a test an _objective_ test.
