User exits & FORMS 4 - Sun OS 4.1.3 (Motif)

I have built a 'form' with about 8 user exits (converting from V3), and it
compiles & links just fine. However, when it is time to run, the program
hangs for about 1-2 seconds & then returns the unix prompt. Does anyone
have
any ideas.
