Help: SQL*Net V2: tnsnames.ora, service names

I have installed SQL*Net V2.
In the file tnsnames.ora, there is a service name for the
database and its location.
At our site, we have only one database.
Is it possible to make that one "default", so that the command in
sqlplus
> connect ops$test/test
will work? So far, I have only been able to make
> connect ops$test/test_at_ora7prod
work.
Please tell me if you know of a solution. Thanks ahead.
