Like the title indicates, we are receiving this error while trying to use some products that rely on Oracle (Namely ArcInfo 6.1.2). I also get the console message many times during the day, even if everything seems normal (i.e. while using SQL*Plus or SQL*Forms).
Since we are using NIS+, I suspect that might be the problem because the error ORA-07268 indicates to add a user entry in the passord file. I tried it without success...
Did anyone got that kind of problem?
