Oraperl is an extension to the "perl" programming language that lets you do queries from Perl scripts and get the data back as Perl arrays. It's quite handy.

I'm not sure where you can ftp it; my supervisor ftp'd it for me since I do not have net access here. Check out comp.lang.perl if you're interested.
