Problem with Pro*C across NFS on HP-UX

Hi,

After upgrading to Oracle7 I've been experiencing some strange problems with the Pro*C compiler when used on NFS mounted files.

The pre-compiler stops processing some files with a "File IO error" (sorry don't have the number with me now) if I don't run it on the same node where both the precompiler and my source file are (I proved moving the file locally and/or copying the pre-compiler). To make things even worse the problem does *not* occur on all files; this should discard permission problems I think.

Is this a known problem? Is there a patch or something I could do to avoid it? On a sort of wild guess I am blaming the infamous mmap call, can anyone comment on this?

 This is my configuration:

	Oracle v7.
A HP-817 as oracle and NFS server, running HP-UX 9.0
	The NFS client (HP735, HP720 or HP715) is running HP-UX 9.03
All the files, including the pro-compiler are NFS mounted.

		Thank you
