Thanks, Mirek. I actually figured it out this morning, and indeed it was using "MM" for the minutes portion of the time in the format mask. Pretty strange behaviour. It might have been more obvious if the time was displayed on the form, but it's not - it's hidden by default and just scrolled to.
A rather dumb "gotcha", but I don't use format masks very often.
