Oracle Glue is a middleware product from Oracle that makes the task of linking off-the-shelf software (like Visual Basic, Excel, Word, and other front-end programs) easy to link to the Oracle database (easy relative to "without Glue"). Our performance testing has also indicated that it is quite a bit faster than the standard ODBC interface from most programs. Contact your Oracle sales rep (or the 800 number in the US and Canada) for more information.
