Hi all !
After some months of exploitation, some tablespaces are like "Gruyere" (French
cheese) --> full of holes.
So, I'm writing a script (which combined UNIX commands and SQL) to reorganize
these tablespaces.
The things to do are in order :
- taking the tablespace offline :
- check that the database is open
- connect internal
- verify that there are no active rollback segments in the tablespace
- alter tablespace xxx offline
- export tables of the tablespace
- delete tables of the tablespace
- import
- taking the tablespace online.
Well, I think I'm reinventing the wheel and perhaps I'm forgeting something ?
So, somebody has certainly write this sort of script !
It would be very nice if you could send it to me.
Thanks in advance and excuse my poor English !
