Some image problems were fixed in 4.0.10 and still more in 4.0.11. Without knowing exactly what version you're on, it's hard to say what the problem might be. I've successfully shown cropped and adjusted BMP, TIFF, and PCX images on my PC using 4.0.11 for MS-Windows. With a specific testcase you can contact your local support organization for more help in narrowing down the problem.
