Oracle7 on HP9000/710

We have started moving from 6 to 7 on hp platform (9000/710), server 7.0.15.4. Here are some problems that require us change in the application code (proc):

1. nulls fetched into host variables return ora-01405, prior version did nothing about that
2. insert statement: insert into(x.col1, x.col2, x.col3) values(1, 2, 3) will not get preprocessed.

Have anyone found some other "undocumented features"?
