distributed object paper

Hi, there.
I am doing my thesis, I just wondering if you guys can give me some information, pointer, or where I can find some paper that related to my thesis. The topic of my thesis is managing / sharing database objects in distributed database environment (may be supporting hereterogenous database as well).
