David,
We wrote a couple of large apps with both BC++ and MS C under
windows. MS C was fairly simply to set up - mostly because it
was C, and the Pro*C preprocessor could handle it. With C++
we had to put ourSQL code in one module which was C and set up
as with extern "C" linkage. Oracle has a file called protos.h
(or something similar) that you'll need to include.
The only problem we ever ran across (and it's because we didn't
take the time to figure out the sorrect solution) was that
we could only have 1 Pro*C source file with BC++. Like I said,
we never tried to figure out why.
PS - If you have any more questions, feel free to drop a note
my direction.
