When this happened to me under exactly the same conditions, Oracle Tech support said that 7.0.12 is not officially supported under SunOS
4.1.1. Indeed, on the CDROM itself it says "For SUN-4/SPARC SunOS 4.1.2/4.1.3". Are CDROM file formats handled differently under 4.1.2/4.1.3 than under 4.1.1? -- Patrick Goebel E-MAIL: patrick_at_casbs.Stanford.EDU Network Administrator VOICE: (415) 321-2052 CASBS, 202 Junipero Serra Blvd. FAX: (415) 321-1192 Stanford, CA 94305 BEEPER: Temporarily Out of Order...Received on Fri Aug 20 1993 - 02:42:38 CEST
