Thanks for the information Kevin. Can you tell me how many transactions you are processing in a day and how many users are active at any one time. Also I would be interested in knowing what was the increase in throughput as you went from a single processor to a multi-processor machine?

I would also be interested in hearing from anyone who has been successful on a none-Sun SMP box (the customers I had conversed with previously were having problems on the VAX platform).
