We are currently using SQL*Net TCP/IP for DOS with Lan WorkPlace 4.1 to connect PC users to Oracle databases. Lan WorkPlace allows for dynamic host name resolution via DNS (Domain Name Server). Is there a version of SQL*Net TCP/IP for DOS (or Windows) that does NOT require a hosts table (ie. uses DNS)? Received on Wed Aug 18 1993 - 00:45:39 CEST
