We are currently working on a similar setup. Here is what we use on the PC:
- MS/Access 1.1 with ODBC
- Oracle SQL*Net
- Netmanage Chameleon TCP/IP (Tel. 408-973-7171 or fax 408-257-6405) We are still in an prototype and can not tell much more than that it works, which is our primary objective. With the new Visual Basic 3.0 you should be able to do the same, since VB now has data access controls.
