Most likely you will require the IPX/SPX version of SQL*Net which will     run on the NextStep OS.

With DOS and OS/2 machines, you first set up a session with Netware     server using the traditional netware drivers. (Ethernet board driver,     ODI, NETX, etc.). Then login to the server and then run the Oracle     SQL*Net driver (SQLSPX for DOS or OS/2). When running the Oracle tools,     you then point the tool to the Oracle server. For example:

             SQLPLUS SCOTT/TIGER_at_X:NOVELLSRV

I would assume that since NextStep is so new, Oracle has not yet     developed the SQL*Net for IPX/SQX yet. Try talking to the sales rep     to see if there is one in the works.

Just the normal orasrv listener process.
