MPP Oracle Pre-Sales Jobs at Meiko, UK.

Meiko UK, based in Bristol, is looking to take on a number of additional   technical staff to help in the process of selling its successful SPARC Massively Parallel hardware platform for the Oracle RDBMS.

This will involve benchmarking, customer application analysis and sizing, customer presentations, and post sales support and consultancy.  It could also include some application development work.

Salaries are Competitive, and the compensation package includes a car, free food, BUPA, non-contributory pension, and membership of a company bonus scheme. The work environment is enlightened, and does not include a dress code or fixed working hours.

The skill set required includes knowledge of Unix internals, ideally SunOS or Solaris, and deep Oracle knowledge. No previous experience of the sales environment is demanded.
