DOS client/Unix servers: compatible with PC-NFS?

I am trying to test our report writer product with DOS Informix clients. Here's my problem. Our test harness is more or less dependent on PC-NFS, and I've heard the DOS Informix client software won't work with this. Has anyone had any experiences that confirm/deny this? Please e-mail directly, if possible.
