Thanks to all that answered my post. My problem arose from the fact that VARCHAR is a structure. While I had null-terminated end element of date_time, I was not using "date_time.arr" in my print statement. Since this is my first look at Pro*C, I was bound to miss something. Anyway, thanks again to all that responded.
